Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls

Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls

Samurai what? Samurai girls!

Hellllllooooo! It's me again! Nope, nothing so special this time. Just an ordinary samurai anime, with tons of action, drama, comedies, girls, ecchiness, ....... wait. Seems strange? Nope. Just your feeling. Ohoho. Well, seeing is believing.... Its an all female cast samurai anime with a lot of action and brush stroke graphic and a whole splattering of censored ecchi! Its.....  Hyakka Ryōran Samurai Girls!

Jube Yagyu: A girl with two personalities. A moe one and a cool one....

The series takes place in an alternate version of Japan called Great Japan, in an alternate timeline where the Tokugawa shogunate remained active and has remained isolated from the rest of the world. The story takes place at Buou Academy, an academy located at the base of Mount Fuji where children of military families train to become samurai warriors. The academy is in the middle of a power struggle between Yukimura Sanada and Matabei Goto of the Toyotomi faction and the powerful student council that rules the school, and Muneakira Yagyu, the owner of the Yagyu Dojo, and the mysterious Jubei Yagyu are dragged in the middle of the conflict.

The series features famous historical figures from Japan's Sengoku period and early Edo period. The character Charles d'Artagnan also comes from the same age in Europe.

Yukimura Sanada: Yep, a little tsundere girl with an adult clothes.

Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls continues much as it started – with plenty of samurai schoolgirls mysteriously eager to shed their clothes in battle, all in the best possible taste of course.

The anime itself seems to have suffered an encounter with Ika Musume ( you know what I mean), and come off the worse for it – the good bits have all been splattered with ink. Well, who cares, we watch anime because of the stories, not the fanservice right? ( seriously?).

Kanetsugu Naoe: A powerful but still, a cutie girl.

The anime is overall great, but the ending could have been better. Nevertheless, it is quiet enjoyable, and a recommended anime to watch if you haven't so.

We are.......... Samurai Girls!

Hidan no Aria

Kinji Tōyama is a student at Tokyo Butei High, a universal educational facility. At this school, students undertake special training in order to learn the path of the Butei, which is a national qualification permitting its holders to arm themselves and capture criminals. The Butei were established to counter the worsening crime conditions, with training in various specialized fields. One day, Kinji decides to quit the Academy, until he is mysteriously attacked by the Butei Killer, a notorious criminal hunting down Butei with passion. The elite Assault prodigy Aria H. Kanzaki comes to his rescue. From this point on, Kinji's future as a Butei changes drastically.

The world of Hidan no Aria is one where the Butei, an elite international martial organisation, trains its members at the high school level. That’s right. In this world, international treaties on child labour are unheard of, and hundreds of parents see no issue with sending their children to a school where the use of firearms is not only commonplace, but required. Furthermore, the students of Tokyo Butei High—quite unlike my high school classmates, most of whom, by the time graduation rolled around, had yet to master the delicate art of pissing straight—perform incredibly well in this environment.

Oh, but it’s not just the coursework they have to worry about. Butei High students must apply their lessons to real life when they are targeted by the Butei Killer—a criminal who sends high-speed Saw-esque murder puzzles after the teenage students. This individual has yet to be apprehended, as Butei graduates and all other law enforcement agents have better things to do than bother with a serial criminal with a rigidly-defined M.O. who regularly targets minors, and endangers civilians in the process.

I'm not saying the anime is bad, but well, it is still enjoyable. As nonsensical and clichéd as everything about this anime was there was plenty of amusement to be found in watching the characters act this way.

First Impression:
